Refunds and cancellation

The short version. You can cancel any plan at any time from the plugin, and it stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If a first payment or a yearly renewal was not what you expected, ask within 14 days and we refund it in full.
This page covers the paid plans of the Chk WordPress plugins sold on getchk.com by Digital Checkmark LLC: today Starter, Pro and Agency of Chatbot Chk, paid monthly or yearly through Stripe. It is part of our terms of use and license.
Try before you pay
Every plugin has a free plan that never expires, and Chatbot Chk includes a 14-day Pro trial that needs no card. We would rather you find out on your own site whether a plan fits than ask for your money back later.
How to cancel
- In WordPress, open the plugin's plans screen and use the button to manage your subscription. It opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel, switch plans or change your card.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. The plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the license goes back to the free plan.
- Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your settings, conversations and contacts stay in your own WordPress, and the plugin keeps working with the limits of the free plan.
- If you cannot reach the plans screen, write to hello@getchk.com from the email on the license and we cancel it for you.
When we refund
- First payment of a plan, monthly or yearly: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of the charge.
- Yearly renewal: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of the renewal charge.
- Monthly renewals are not refunded: cancel before the next one and you are not charged again.
- A charge that should not have happened, such as a double charge or a renewal after you cancelled: always refunded, whenever you notice it.
- If a paid feature does not work and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we refund the affected period, beyond the 14 days.
We do not refund a license that was closed for breaking the fair use rules after we warned you, nor the unused part of a period after the 14 days. If the law where you live gives you more rights than this page, for example a longer period to withdraw, those rights apply.
Changing plans
You change plans from the same plans screen. Stripe shows exactly what you will pay, or the credit you get, before you confirm, and the new plan applies as soon as you do.
How to ask for a refund
Write to hello@getchk.com from the email on the license, or include the site where the plugin is installed. You do not need to give a reason, although it helps us improve. We answer within two business days, and the refund goes back to the card you paid with; banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days.
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank: it is faster for you.
